Many people have asked, “What is H’COLA?” Here is the answer in brief: We are a group of committed and dedicated business-minded people from the Apalachicola, Hillside Community who occupy the same belief, which is that service to others is a high and worthy calling, and we share this view passionately. African-American History Festival Forms & Information
We are finalizing plans for our annual festival event, the 19th Annual African-American History Festival, which will be held this year on February 17–19, 2023 in the beautiful, historic City of Apalachicola.
The weekend outdoor event celebrates and highlights African-American heritage, including art, culture, and food and provides something to do for the entire family and every age group from pre-school to senior citizen.
